Description
Rope Dogs are a more forgiving, safer substitute for a mechanical rope clamp in situations where overloading could damage the rope sheath. Used primarily in rope tensioning systems (e.g. cableways), a Rope Dog will slip in a controlled manner, limiting the forces applied and preventing system overload.
Designed to be off-loaded and re-loaded under tension. Correct installation of the Rope Dog is imperative; training and instruction can be provided on request.
